Hanford firefighters rescue dog from 3-foot deep trench

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Hanford Fire Department worked together to make sure a dog got home safe on Sunday.

Firefighters say the dog, named Sassy had fallen into a narrow, three-foot-deep trench in Kings County.

And with a little teamwork, they were able to successfully get her out.

Sassy wasn't injured in the incident and she is now back home with her family.
