FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno County jailers released one of the six people accused of taking part in a drug conspiracy with a now-former Fresno deputy police chief.
Investigators claim phone taps caught Keith Foster discussing heroin sales with Rafael Guzman last year. Guzman is also accused of discussing other drug sales with one of Foster's nephews.
But a federal judge decided on Monday that Guzman isn't a flight risk or a danger to the community under some strict release conditions. He's also facing charges for drug sales and child endangerment in state court, but he was released from jail Tuesday morning.
