Fresno gay pride parade draws hundreds to Tower District

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Hundreds of people gathered in Fresno's Tower District on Saturday to celebrate the annual gay pride parade.

The event is meant to help bring diversity while celebrating the culture and creativity of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community. Along with a parade, there was plenty of good food and music to enjoy.

Pride events also took place in Sacramento on Saturday.
