FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are still trying to track down the suspect responsible for shooting and killing a man experiencing homelessness in Central Fresno.
Around 12:30 Saturday morning, officers responded to a man laying down on the sidewalk.
Offiers found a 70-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the upper torso.
He was rushed to the hospital but died a short time later.
Detectives say the victim frequented the area of Van Ness Boulevard and the Highway 180 overpass.
Investigators are trying to track down any video footage or witnesses to the shooting.
