Man behind 2015 armed robberies in Tulare, Fresno Counties sentenced

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A South Valley man has been sentenced for a series of armed robberies that happened back in 2015, at gas stations and convenience stores throughout Tulare and Fresno Counties.

29-year-old John Torales was convicted in June of last year of six counts of robbery, and six counts of assault with a firearm.

He was sentenced on Tuesday to more than 81 years for the crimes.
