D23 live updates: Exclusive trailers shown for new movies, shows

The characters are familiar but the faces are new. With Sadie Sink by his side as Jean Grey, Marvel Studios executive Kevin Feige introduced the new cast of "X-Men" at D23.

Noting that they met for the first time backstage, he announced Kit Connor as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor Charles Xavier, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, and Maya Boyd as Storm.

Then, in a prerecorded video, Adam Driver announced that he was also joining the cast.

The new film will follow the story of Jean Gray into an all-new version of the saga, coming to theaters May 5, 2028.

Captain America (Chris Evans), Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) and Dr. Doom (Robert Downey Jr.) walked on stage at the Disney Entertainment Showcase to give Marvel fans a special look at "Avengers: Doomsday."

The clip featured a voiceover while showing closeups of the epic villain and superheroes.

Pedro Pascal can be heard asking, "Victor, did you do this?" While Robert Downey Jr. answers, "All of you have lived stolen lives."

Tickets for "Avengers: Doomsday" are on sale now. The highly anticipated film hits theaters on Dec. 18.

Paul Bettany and James Spader introduced the first trailer for the highly anticipated "VisionQuest."

The series will premiere on Disney+ on Oct. 14, 2026.

"Oswald the Lucky Rabbit" is coming to Disney+, and fans at D23 got an exclusive first look!

Director Jon Favreau shared that the project leans heavily on traditional, hand-drawn 2D animation. The three-part miniseries is complete and will premiere on Disney+ in February 2027.
