Dos Palos police look for missing 4-year-old boy

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police in the North Valley are looking for a 4-year-old boy after his grandmother refused to turn the child over to authorities.

Dos Palos police say Noah Apodaca has brown hair and brown eyes, and is about 3 feet tall. Noah is believed to be with his grandmother, Mary Saavedra. She was with the boy on Saturday when officers arrested his mother, 21-year-old Jasmine Teltow. She's accused of stabbing her husband.

Saavedra was told to return the boy to law enforcement but has refused. Saavedra is believed to be driving a brown 2002 Ford Explorer with license plate number 6CCV579.
