DUI suspect dies at hospital
Authorities say Lewis Burris was under the influence when he ran a stop sign Monday and crashed into another vehicle, killing both inside.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Suspect accused of killing two men in a drunk driving crash died from his injuries Sunday.

Authorities say 75-year-old Lewis Burris ran a stop sign Monday at Rose and Academy Avenues in Fresno County. His Ford F-250 slammed into another pickup killing 30-year-old Tony Reyes and his friend 36-year-old Greg Cantu, both of Parlier.

Burris had been in the hospital since the crash and died early Sunday, according to authorities.
