FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Highway 180 leading to Hume Lake was reopened Monday afternoon, according to a Hume Lake official.
Heavy snowfall left around 750 campers near Hume Lake stranded overnight and the road closure left them unable to leave in the morning.
The main road through Sequoia National Park was closed Monday at another portion of Highway 180, from the northern entrance to the Foothills Visitor Center along Highway 198 at the southern entrance, which crews are still working to clear.
