Spot fires break out along Highway 168 in Fresno County

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Crews battled multiple spot fires along Highway 168 in Fresno County on Monday. ABC30 Insider Kaitlin Heely sent in video of the firefight along the four-lane up to Beal Fire Road.

The calls initially came in around 8:30 a.m. Cal Fire officials say they contained five small spot fires in the area. A water-dropping aircraft was also brought in to help put out the flames.

There is no word on the cause of the fires. No injuries were reported.
