Woman hit and killed by car in northeast Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are investigating after a woman was hit and killed by a car in northeast Fresno.

It happened just before midnight on Sunday on Cedar near Shaw.

Police say the car collided with a homeless woman along the northbound lanes.

The driver of the car stopped and called police.

The woman who was hit has not yet been identified.
