FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Valley Animal Center has kicked off a new money-saving campaign this month for some cat owners. Through the month of February, they are offering low-cost spay and neutering.
The "Beat the Heat" campaign allows for female cats to get fixed for just $20. It's an effort to help alleviate the pet overpopulation problem in Fresno County.
Anyone interested in taking advantage of this deal should call ahead to make an appointment and mention the "Beat the Heat" campaign when doing so. It's available through the end of the month and is made possible thanks to a partnership with PetSmart.
