MADERA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is in custody after a deadly shooting in Madera.
It happened just after 9:30 pm Monday at the Walgreens on Cleveland and Schnoor.
Police were called about a person they say suffered a gunshot wound inside the store and later died.
Callers described the 30-year-old man to police who they believed was the shooter.
He was found by officers when they arrived and was arrested.
Police said there were customers with children inside the store at the time of the shooting.
Police say the shooting was not gang-related.
The firearm was recovered from the incident.
They say the man will be booked into the Madera County Jail on a charge of homicide.
