Crews quickly contain wildfire in Fresno County

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Firefighters are battling a wildfire burning in Fresno County Near Pine Flat Lake.

It started before 11 am Friday on East Trimmer Springs Road near Pine Flat Road.

The so-called "Pine Fire" has charred about 25 acres, but CAL FIRE says the flames are now 50 percent contained.

Crews have stopped forward progress on the fire.

Firefighters will be at the scene for the next several hours to reinforce containment lines while mopping up hot embers.
