1 detained after gunfire erupts in southeast Fresno shopping center, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- One person has been detained after gunfire erupted in a busy southeast Fresno shopping center.

Fresno Police say at 4:43 p.m. Wednesday, an officer was flagged down on Kings Canyon Road and Clovis Avenue regarding a fight and a possible shooting.

Investigators believe no one was injured in the shooting, but multiple vehicles were struck by gunfire.

Police say the involvement of the detainee is unknown at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
