Man hit and killed by vehicle in central Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man has died after being hit by a vehicle in central Fresno early Thursday morning.

It happened just before 12:30 am on Blackstone and Olive.

Police say the driver was headed south on Blackstone approaching Olive when the vehicle collided with the pedestrian.

The man was rushed to the hospital, where he died.

Officers say drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash.

The driver is cooperating with police.

The man has not been identified.
