
VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Visalia police department is investigating a shooting that injured one person and prompted a lockdown at a nearby Boys and Girls Club on Friday evening.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired on South Locust Street shortly after 7:00 p.m. and found evidence of a shooting.
As a precaution, the nearby Boys and Girls Club was placed on lockdown.
One person was shot and is expected to be okay.
Police are searching for the shooter as the investigation continues.
