HANFORD, Calif. (KFSN) -- Multiple teenagers have been detained by Hanford Police following a stabbing that killed a 17-year-old boy.
The stabbing happened around 5:30 p.m. Saturday outside the Kohl's department store at the Hanford mall on Lacey Boulevard near 12th Avenue.
Officers who were called to the scene found a blood trail that led them to the 17-year-old.

Police tell Action News the victim was with a relative who is also a juvenile. The relative ran back into the mall to get the victim's mother.
The group of teenagers accused of the attack left the area but they were later detained and questioned by police.
Detectives say they found a knife that may have been used in the stabbing.
