Chef Shayna: Italian Christmas Cookie & White Russian
Tis the season for baking. Here's a simple cookie recipe and cocktail to pair with it.

Tis the season for baking. Here's a simple cookie recipe and cocktail to pair with it.



Italian Cookies



- 16 oz sugar cookie dough



- 4 oz Cream Cheese, softened



- 1/2 cup flour



- 1/2 tsp vanilla



- 1 cup powdered sugar



- 2 TB milk



- Christmas sprinkles



In a medium bowl, knead together cookie dough with cream cheese, flour and vanilla until a larger dough is formed. Use the palm of your hands to make small ball and place them 1 inch apart. You should make about 20 cookies.



Bake at 350 for 12 minutes. Let cool.



Make the icing by combining powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl.


Spoon the icing on top of each cookie and sprinkle on decor before the icing has time to dry.



White Russian



- 2 oz Vodka



- 1 1/2 oz Coffee liquor



- 2 oz milk



- 1 oz heavy cream



Fill a short class with ice, pour in vodka and coffee liquor.



Combine milk and cream and slowly pour on top.
