A Valley boy celebrated his 3rd birthday by giving back

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Crue Allred and his family threw a party on Saturday at the Kingsburg Historical Park. But instead of gifts, they requested donations for Valley Children's Hospital.

You may remember crue from other recent Action News stories. He was born with spina bifida that has paralyzed him from the waist down. Crue's parents had to fight with their insurance company to get him a wheelchair which give him the freedom of mobility and allow him to play sports.

The family received tremendous support from the community along the way.
