1 hospitalized after fire in southeast Fresno, officials say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A person was taken to the hospital after a fire in southeast Fresno.

Fire crews responded to reports of smoke coming from a building at Jensen and Maple Avenues around 7 Tuesday evening.

They quickly put out the flames but an employee inside was suffering from heavy smoke inhalation.

They were taken to the hospital and are now recovering.

The cause of the fire is under investigation
