Police suspect alcohol in deadly Visalia crash

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Officers believe alcohol is to blame for a fatal accident in Visalia.

They say a Cadillac sedan and Honda Accord were both traveling down Caldwell Avenue at a high rate of speed. The Cadillac lost control and hit a light pole in the center median.

The driver had major head trauma and died at the scene. The Honda Accord was not directly involved in the collision but the driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
