Man suspects valet took joyride in his car

GRAND RAPIDS, MI Joel Lathrop says he set the trip odometer on his Mercedes to zero when he dropped it off Monday.

But when he returned Thursday, Lathrop says the trip odometer read 80 miles.

A manager with Standard Parking Corporation says she's unaware of Lathrop's claim.

Lathrop says he grew suspicious several weeks ago when he left his car with a quarter-tank of gas but ran out of gas shortly after picking it up.
