Shoplifters use toddlers to help steal

FRESNO, Calif.

The suspects' faces have been blurred in this surveillance video from Wal-Mart.

Police say the 12 and 14 year old girls put a stack of stolen merchandise in a toddler's stroller, and had a 3-year-old boy sit on top to cover it up.

They're also accused of filling a back pack with more stolen goods, and making a 2-year-old walk out of the store wearing it.

All in all, about $450 in merchandise was almost taken. The toddlers were eventually returned to their mother.

The girls were arrested on charges of shoplifting and cruelty toward a child. The suspects' faces have been blurred in this surveillance video from Wal-Mart.
