The shooting happened Sunday afternoon near Dorothy and Tupman in Southwest Fresno.
Fresno Police say they arrested Malcom Rosemond early Monday morning. He's charged with assault with a deadly weapon and for shooting into an occupied vehicle. He's now in a Fresno County Jail.
Investigators say the man and his daughter were about to help a relative whose car had broken down when the gunman fired two or three shots, then ran away. A bullet went through the girl's arm, and into her father's back.
Two other children and a woman were inside the car. They were not injured.
