Charles Kendricks was sentenced to 172-years and four months to life in prison. Kendricks was found guilty of murdering his wife in one case, and a rival gang member in another.
He was also charged with two other murders, but prosecutors dropped those charges after convictions in the first two cases. They say given the sentence, those cases would be a waste of time and money.
