The non-profit organization has run a variety of classes, including dance and sculpture from its Downtown Fresno headquarters.

When DCAC started three years ago, it had 20 volunteers and $1,000.00 a month in donations. Now, three volunteers are left -- and no money is coming in.

Stephanie Pearl, Executive Director said, "As a kid, I thought I would benefit from a place like this and with that, that's why DCAC was born, and it really worked. And that's what's really hard is the kids."

DCAC will continue to mentor youth and open their studios for art-hop. But, all of their art supplies are being auctioned off.

While art classes will no longer be available, the Downtown Community Arts Collective is looking for volunteers. Visit the DCAC website for more information on how you can help.
