Boy contacts CPS in Porterville after sexual assault

PORTERVILLE, Calif.

/*Franco Toledo*/, 22, was booked into the Tulare County jail just a few hours ago.

Tulare County sheriff deputies arrested Toledo Wednesday afternoon after completing an investigation.

They say the sexual assault took place over a three year period, but detectives just learned of the crime when the boy contacted Child Welfare Services to report it.

In addition to working at Granite Hills High School, Toledo volunteered with the band at Pioneer Middle School.

He was also employed with the Youth Experience Success Program through Porterville Unified.

Because Toledo worked with kids in three different locations -- sheriff officials believe there could be other victims who have yet to come forward.

Chris Douglass with the Tulare County Sherriff's Department said, "Right now it's just getting that information out to the community that we do have someone in custody and parents may need to have a conversation with their children if they did come in contact with this particular person and if they feel there is anything they need to report, please give us a call."

Toledo was booked into Tulare County jail on $300 thousand bail.
