Kerman police officer saluted for helping animals in community

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Kerman police officer is being saluted for his service to humans and animals in his community!

The Kerman Animal Services Department posted a photo of officer Lopez and they thanked him for all his help on animal calls throughout the city.

Lopez is known to keep dog and cat food in the trunk of his patrol unit just in case he comes across an animal in need of rescue.
