The Bulldogs Bowl Disappointment.

Albuquerque, NM, USA You can blame it on injuries...missed tackles...a lack of focus...the bottom line is Fresno State had every opportunity to beat Colorado State in a game the Bulldogs were favored to win but were never quite able to deliver the knockout blow.

Every time the Bulldogs looked to pull away the Rams seemed to respond with a huge play including a touchdown just before the half. The Rams connected on the high arching pass into the end zone to cut Fresno state's lead down to 1.

Rams' running back Gartrell Johnson seemed to get stronger as the game went on, rushing for career high of 285 yards. Rams win it 40-35 in Albuquerque.

Fresno state closes out the year by giving up 101 points in their last two games combined. Finishing a frustrating season with a 7-and-6 mark.
