Holscher says he's comforted by knowing he'll have the support of hundreds of fans cheering for him come fight night. "It definitely motivates you because there are a lot of people that are going to come out," Holscher said. "There's a lot of people looking at me, especially my students. I don't want to let them down."
And it's not only the students that have Holscher's back. He also has the full support of /*Clovis High School*/ Principal Pam Winter. "He sets goals for himself," Winter said. "He wants to be the best he can. He's a respectable honorable young man and we're very proud of him."
Holscher will try to meet one of those goals this Friday night in the ring. But thankfully for his students, he only uses his non-violent tactics in the classroom to send a message. "I just look at him. He usually figures it out. They know. I like my job."
