The retailer expects to hire 300 part-time workers at the Atwater Wal-Mart Supercenter, which is currently under construction. About 100 applicants showed up looking for work. Even though the store doesn't open until March, some of those hired will begin training a month ahead of time at other Wal-Mart locations.
