Police say 20 year old David Gonzalez walked into the JCM Mini-Mart on Caldwell Avenue Wednesday ... and walked out with a 30-pack of beer without paying for it. Action News showed you the surveillance video Thursday.
The clerk says he went after the thief and then -- was stabbed in the stomach.
Gonzalez turned himself in to authorities Friday afternoon. He's facing charges of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
