The body of Jorge Alcantar-Guendulay was found in the area of Golden State just north of Highland.
Police received a 911 call reporting a body in the road. When officers arrived, they found a young man lying on the street.
The victim has not been identified yet. Police are asking anyone who sees a heavily damaged car to contact 911. Investigators are trying to determine a make and a model of the suspect's vehicle.
