Pianist /*Ya-Fei Chuang*/ wowed music students with her lightning fast fingers at Ahwahnee Middle School.
The Taiwan native's rendition of Tchaikovsky's concerto left students wanting more.
Maestro Theodore Kuchar of the Fresno Philharmonic brought her in for the special performance.
In an age where hip hop, rock and pop are the norm -- Chuang hopes her music inspires others to listen and follow their hearts.
"I find that very important for the culture and for their own well-being," said Chuang. "Hopefully music will always be a part of their lives."
Maestro Kuchar invited each student and their families to attend Saturday and Sunday's performances for free as his personal guest.
You can also catch this weekend's concerts at the Saroyan Theater in Downtown Fresno.
