Officers went to a home on Meadowbrook near Beech just after 4 a.m. They say a man reported he was burglarized overnight while he was sleeping.
The victim thought the thief was gone but an officer searched the house and found the suspect hiding in an upstairs bathroom. Investigators say 20-year-old Codi Duckworth went in through a window and couldn't escape once the victim woke up.
Duckworth was booked in jail on burglary charges
