The man wanted for shooting a rival gang member near the Downtown Fresno ice rink Thursday is now in custody.

Keshawn Jones, 26, was arrested at an apartment complex in Northwest Fresno early Saturday morning.

Investigators say Jones fired two rounds while people were out at the ice rink and walking around at art hop. Police say Jones was charged with the shooting and other weapons charges.

Because of the shooting extra patrols will be out around the ice rink from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. each night until the rink closes in late January.
