Authorities investigate possible homicide in Tulare County

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Tulare County Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible homicide.

Detectives went to Prosperity Avenue near Mathias Street on Friday night for a report of a suspicious death. They found the body of a 26-year-old woman and quickly tracked down her neighbors and family members.

Authorities have not released the victim's name or any other details. They say the case is being treated as a homicide until an autopsy is complete.
