10 full-time Central Unified teachers laid off

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Ten full-time teachers have lost their jobs in the Central Unified School District.

Board members voted during a meeting on Tuesday night, deciding to allow the layoffs.

No tenure staff will be affected by these job cuts.

All positions that will be impacted were probationary.

The job cuts are not expected to interfere with or eliminate school programs.
