CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- Several teen burglars are in jail Wednesday accused of stealing from a Clovis East High School.

From former students to accused criminals, leaders say the three Clovis East alumni aren't representing Wolf Pack pride.

"When we have losses like this when we have thefts they're stealing from our community," Kelly Avants with the Clovis Unified School District said. "They're stealing from themselves, really just disappointing."

Clovis Police believe Chris Yang, David Durazo, Manuel Christopherson and two teenagers broke into the school more than once over the weekend.

"They took computer equipment. They took personal property that belonged to employees there at the school and candy," Sgt. Jim Koch with the Clovis Police Department said.

Police say they happened to find some of the stolen property when Yang and Durazo got mixed up in a fight.

That break in the case led police to the three other suspects, and a witness says several arrests happened at Durazo's apartment.

"They asked the grandmother if they were in there and she said, 'No,'" neighbor Tina Fulbright said. "And they asked if they could go in and she said, 'No.' They finally got him to come out of the apartment along with two other boys and they took him in and they arrested him."

Among the stolen property were checks made out to the Clovis East Athletics Department.

Luckily for the Timberwolves, almost everything was found and returned back to the school.
