Clovis students kick off weekend with a human hamster race

FRESNO, Calif. -- Kids at Garfield Elementary School pushed the giant Hamster Balls across the school field -- racing to the finish line.

Employees inside got into character dressing up as Hamsters!

The students were rewarded with the fun activity because they exceeded their $30,000 fundraiser goal for their annual Jog-A-Thon.

Last year the student reward was creating a human ice cream sundae.
