Dr. Pat DiCiccio, with DiCiccio Orthodontics, is buying dozens of cookies. He's buying two boxes from every Girl Scout troop that stops by his office.
"So far we've had 25 to 30 troops come through in less than a week," he said. "We are probably sitting on 50 cases of cookies right now".
He explained he wants to give back to the community that has supported him over the years and continues to support him. After cookie season is over the cookies will be donated to a valley military group.

"We've partnered with Blue Star Moms of the Central Valley to add these cookies to care packages to the troops overseas," he said. "We are trying to make the little local troops happy and put a smile on their face and at the same time hopefully show the troops overseas that we care about them and we are thinking about them. Hopefully, a cookie can put a smile on their face."
While Dr. DiCiccio's mission is to put smiles on everyone's face he explained their mission is to also encourage kids and teens to be active in their community.
"There's nobody that does it better than Girl Scouts of America. They are phenomenal and it went hand in hand with our office mission," Dr. DiCiccio explained.
Heather Robison's daughter is part of Troop 3740.
They stopped by on Monday to drop off a couple cases of cookies after seeing Dr. DiCiccio's call for Girl Scout troops to stop by.
"I think it's amazing that they are going to send our cookies to troops overseas. A lot of those people don't get to see things from home and this gives them a reminder," she said.
Dr. DiCiccio explained he is not the only orthodontist giving back. He said there are dozens of other orthodontists throughout the country doing something similar. Any valley troop can stop by and they are buying cookies through the end of the season.
