7.2 earthquake strikes near Fiji, according to USGS

FRESNO, California (KFSN) -- The United States Geological Survey is reporting a strong earthquake struck in the South Pacific Ocean near the island of Fiji.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has issued a threat saying tsunami waves are possible along the coast of Fiji.
