Ed Sheeran surprised with kittens during Raleigh concert

RALEIGH, North Carolina (KFSN) -- Many of you had a great time watching Ed Sheeran perform on Saturday night.

But Sheeran had a great time himself after receiving a warm surprise from the SPCA of Wake County with the help of Pulse FM.

The singer is a huge fan of kittens and that was exactly his surprise.

When Sheeran heard about the kittens, he ran out to meet them.

During an interview, he can be seen hugging the kittens.

Now, we know all about Ed Sheeran, but who are these two adorable kittens? Caspian and Lil' Possum!

The pair of kittens are two of at least seven that the SPCA of Wake County has rescued from a local horse farm.

The adoption center is still working on rescuing several other kittens from that farm.

The goal of the SPCA is to help pets like Caspian and Lil' Possum find their forever homes.
