20th annual 'Si Se Puede' Conference held at Fresno State

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Hundreds of Latino teenagers gathered in Fresno on Wednesday for the 20th annual "Si Se Puede" or "Yes We Can" Conference.

The conference kicked off at Fresno State's North Gym with a simple message: It takes effort, hard work and dedication to go to college and graduate, but the rewards are worth it.

The students then branched off into specialized seminars -- covering such topics as business, law enforcement, even news reporting. Action News sports anchor David Bataller served on the panel.

The event concluded with a networking lunch.
