FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Students at Monroe Elementary School in Southeast Fresno got a real-life lesson in physics on Friday.

The students got to see one of their teachers try to defy gravity by lying on a bed of nails. She managed to pull it off without getting injured.

It was just one of many experiments on display as part of a physics outreach program put on by a team from Fresno State.
