FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A final push for votes is underway to win a $100,000 grant for the Exchequer Mountain Bike Park.

A nonprofit riding club is working to turn 700 acres of land at Lake McClure into one of the biggest mountain bike parks in the state. It's located on Merced Irrigation District property. Officials say it would be a major draw for cycling enthusiasts and help to bring customers to local hotels, restaurants and other businesses.

The park is in a close contest to become the West Coast winner for the bellhelmets.com contest. It would then compete with two other finalists for a shot at the $100,000 prize.

Voting ends on Sunday, so supporters are asking everyone to vote this weekend. To cast your vote, visit www.bellhelmets.com/bell-built.
