Some Freeway 41 metering lights to run all day

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Metering lights at some Freeway 41 on-ramps in Fresno will now run throughout the day.

The lights from McKinley to Shaw Avenues will now run all day from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. They used to only run during the morning and evening rush hours.

The lights allow either one or two vehicles at a time to get on the freeway in order to reduce traffic congestion.
