82-year-old man found dead in Fresno County, deputies investigating as suspicious

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a suspicious death in Laton.

Deputies responded to a medical call just after 1:30 a.m. Friday on South Fowler at East Tache Avenues.

Emergency medical services arrived and found an 82-year-old man with suspicious injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

When deputies arrived, they detained three men inside the home where the man was found. Deputies learned they are related to the man.

Deputies will now get a search warrant for the home to look for evidence and learn more about the 82-year-old.

An autopsy will need to be done to understand more about the man's injuries and determine what led to his death.

The Fresno County Sheriff's Office did not give details about the man's injuries except to say they don't appear to be natural.
