Squatters blamed for house fire in Mendota

FRESNO, California (KFSN) -- A fire consumed a home on 6th and Stamoules streets.

The fire broke out around 10 p.m. Tuesday. The home was vacant and investigators believe squatters may have started the fire.

No one was hurt. Damage to the home is estimated at over $100-thousands.
